How do I write a new entry on my blog?
From your site, click "News & Blog" at the bottom of the page. This opens the "News & Blog" bar. Click + "Add" to load a blank page template and start writing.
How can I publish my blog posts?
All your blog posts are published right after you turn publishing on by pressing the "Publishing ON" button on the right end of the bottom toolbar.
How do I delete a post from blog?
Click "News & Blog" on the lower toolbar. In the "News & Blog" bar, hover your mouse over the blog you want to delete, then click the delete icon.
You can also delete blog posts listed in the "News & Blog" full view when you go to "Site" → "Settings" → "News & Blog". Just click the trash bin icon next to the post you want to remove.
How do I manage comments on my blog posts?
Go to "Site" → "Settings" and click the "News & Blogs" icon. Click the comments icon beside the blog you want to edit. This will list all the comments made on that post. Click the trash bin icon next to a comment to delete it or click the light bulb icon to mark it as spam.

Do I have to display my e-mail address with every blog posting?
No, you don’t have to display your e-mail, you can set 44GallonsWeb to display your name instead. To do this go to "People" page ("Site" → "People") and change your user name as you want it to appear in your blog posts.
Can I set my blog as my homepage?
You can't do this yourself. If you need to do this, please get in touch with us support@44gallonsweb.com.
How can I add a new blog page?
To add a new blog add a new page and select its layout type as "Blog & News". 44GallonsWeb will automatically treat this page as blog and allow you to add entries and comments to it.
There is no "add" button in blog bar. What I should to do?
If you see the message "You have currently no posts. Start by adding some," click on it to add the first post.
If you see only the message "You have currently no posts" then there isn't a blog page in the current language of your site. You have to add a new blog page before you can add your first blog post.
How do I find out the RSS address of my blog/news page?
Add ".rss" to the end of your blog page's address and you will get the address of the RSS feed for that blog (eg. myname.44gallonsweb.com/blog.rss).
How can I change the date of my blog post?
Go to the post's page and click "Page" icon on the lower toolbar, this will open a balloon with post's properties, where you will be able to change it's address, author and date, which will be displayed as the posting date.
How can I change the author of my blog post?
Click the "Page" icon on the lower toolbar and choose the user you wish to list as the author of this post. The desired author has to have access to the site and be registered in the "People" tab of the "Settings" view.
I added a blog post, but when I log out, I can’t see it.
The problem is probably that your blog post is not published. Go to the blog post and if the Publishing button on the lower toolbar is orange, click on it and it will turn green ("Publishing ON"), which makes your blog post go live. The post is not published by default, because otherwise people could see half-finished posts on your page when you are writing them.
